Learning What We're Shaped By

Guard your heart above all else, for it determines the course of your life-- Proverbs 4:23

This was the theme verse of CIY Superstart, a 24 hour event for elementary and middle schoolers. United in Faith sent a group to St. Peters, Missouri, to Harvester Christian Church, learning from speakers and worship leaders from Christ in Youth about what we are shaped by.

We learned that we are shaped by the people around us, and that we need to guard our hearts. We also learned that we are shaped by God, and not just to be created by Him, but that He has created us for a purpose: Kingdom Work. 

We played lots of games, from verse vibes to shaped challenges, we really learned what it means to be shaped by others and to be shaped by God.

We all had such a blast, and we go every year! CIY has multiple weeks and weekends for multiple grades. There's probably something for you or for someone in your family!
